HEALH CARE – organizational units providing health care

With effect from 01 December 2019, the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic approved the organizational structure of the hospital. As for the medical structures, the following organizational units operated in FDRH as of 31 December 2020 providing health care:

1. 17 clinical departments and 6 inpatient departments providing institutional care,
2. central operating and intervention rooms,
3. nursing home,
4. emergency department (emergency service for adults, type 2 emergency department)
5. 8 paraclinic departments including Central Laboratory Complex (Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Haematology and Clinical microbiology)
6. 81 specialized outpatient clinics,
7. 11 one-day health care facilities,
8. a hospital pharmacy and a public pharmacy called “Naša lekáreň (Our Pharmacy)”,
9. a transplant centre.
