Essential Identification Information
F.D. Roosevelt General Hospital of Banská Bystrica (FDRH) was established by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic with effect from 1 January 1991 as a state budgetary organization with legal personality.
Due to a modification of The Deed of Foundation, the definition was changed from the state budgetary organization to a state-subsidised health organization with effect from 1 January 1995. The Deed of Foundation for F.D. Roosevelt General Hospital of Banská Bystrica was issued by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic under the number 1842/90 – A/II – 1 on 18 December 1990.
The organization was established for an indefinite period. Due to a modification of The Deed of Foundation, the name was changed from F.D. Roosevelt General Hospital of Banská Bystrica to F.D. Roosevelt University General Hospital of Banská Bystrica (hereinafter “FDRH”) with effect from 1 May 2004.
